The Ninth S1000D User Forum in Moscow is over today, on 30 September, four days after its start. The event gathered S1000D users from all over the world – 19 countries took part in it.
The Forum was organized due to Aerospace and Defense Industries Association of Europe (ASD), Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), Air Transport Association (ATA), Non-profit Partnership “Union of Aviation Industrialists”, United Aircraft Corporation and the CALS R&D Center “Applied Logistics”.
S1000D standard is considered to be one of the most famous in this sphere and is applied to make interactive electronic technical manuals.
Leading world aviation manufacturers’ representatives Andreas Schuetze (Airbus), Carl Wilen (Saab) and Peter Zimmerman (EADS) reported about the successful experience to apply the S1000D standard.
Major Russian aviation industrialists – Non-profit Partnership “Union of Aviation Industrialists” members – JSC “Sukhoi Design Bureau”, JSC “Tupolev” and JSC “Scientific and Production Corporation “IRKUT” reported about S1000D usage experience in Russia’s military and civil aviation.
The Forum was also attended by such worldwide famous companies as Technodata (Germany), Alstom Transport (France), Bombardier Aerospace (Canada), Corena (Denmark) and others.
14 countries participate in S1000D creation and development process. International cooperation of the standard creators and users is getting stronger due to international exhibition and conferences.

Im International Suppliers Center (ISC) war Technodata erstmalig auf dem Alround-Gemeinschaftsstand vertreten.
Dort präsentierten wir unter anderem den von Technodata entwickelten IETP-X-Browser / Viewer, der bereits bei namhaften, internationalen Kunden im Einsatz ist.
Während der Messe kamen interessante und detaillierte Fachgespräche, u.a. mit Airbus Military, AITT Corp., Gurit, Lufthansa Technik, Northrop Grumman und Rolls Royce zustande.

This year the ILA Air Show 2010 in Berlin attracted 235.000 visitors and participants.
Technodata was represented for the first time as part of the Alround-Stand located within the International Suppliers Center (ISC).
During the fair we demonstrated our IETP-X Browser / Viewer which has successfully been in use with several international customers.
We held interesting and detailed discussions with companies such as Airbus Military, AITT Corp., Gurit, Lufthansa Technik, Northrop Grumman and Rolls Royce.

Im Zeitraum von 10.07.09 bis 17.09.09 fand das von Heiko Marschollek ins Leben gerufenen „Little Sunshine Race“ zugunsten der Elterninitiative Krebskranke Kinder München e.V. statt.
Durch verschiedene, einschneidende Erlebnisse im Leben des passionierten Rennradfahrers entstand die Idee etwas Besonderes auf die Beine zu stellen.
So hieß es dann das Angenehme mit dem Nützlichen zu verbinden.
Das Little Sunshine Race über 800 km war geboren.
Ein Radmarathon von Bogen, der Heimstadt des bayerischen Rautenwappens, bis zum Ski- und Tour de France-Etappenort Verbier.
Die Strecke verlief in stetigem Auf und Ab über Fürstenfeldbruck, Scheidegg, Chur, Andermatt und Leuk nach Verbier, unweit vom Dreiländereck Schweiz-Frankreich-Italien.
Dabei galt es nicht nur Wind und Wetter zu trotzen, sondern auch mehrere Alpenpässe wie den Furka zu überwinden.

Mit unglaublich positiver Resonanz, nicht nur von den unterstützenden Firmen und Spendern, konnten am 07.10.2009 an die Elterninitiative eine Spende in Höhe von gesamt 6685 Euro übergeben werden.

Aufgrund des Erfolges wird Technodata auch im Jahr 2010 das Little Sunshine Race wieder als Pate und Sponsor unterstützen.

Technodata supports the Little Sunshine Race 2009

The Little Sunshine Race was launched by Heiko Marschollek and took place from 10.07.09 thru 17.09.09. The aim of the project was to support the Parents’ Association for Children with Cancer in Munich.

Through various dramatic events in the life of a passionate cyclist, the idea of something special was in the works. It was then decided to combine the pleasant with the useful and the Little Sunshine Race over 800 km was born. A cycling marathon from Bogen, the home of the Bavarian flag with the blue and white diamonds, to the skiing resort and Tour de France stage on Verbier.

The route proceeded at a steady ebb and flow over Fürstenfeldbrück, Scheidegg, Chur, Andermatt and Leuk to Verbier, close to the point where Switzerland, France and Italy meet.

It was not only braving the wind and weather, but also several mountain passes such as the Furka had to be overcome.

Due to the incredibly positive response, not only by the supporting companies and donors, on 07/10/2009 a donation of 6685 Euros could be passed on to the charity.
